BJP-MP Sunny Deol and actor Karisma Kapoor have been acquitted in a 22-year-old case of illegally pulling an-emergency chain of a train while shooting for a film. The two-Bollywood-actors had challenged in a sessions court in Rajasthan a railway-court's-order for framing-charges against them. Additional-district-judge Pawan Kumar granted relief to Mr Deol and Ms Kapoor on Friday, AK Jain, the lawyer for the two-actors, said.
Sunny Deol's Election Expenditure Found To Be More Than Rs 70 Lakh Limit

The poll expenditure of Gurdaspur lawmaker and actor Sunny Deol has been found exceeding the statutory limit of Rs.70-lakh, an election official said on Saturday. "The District Election Office of Gurdaspur has sent the final report of poll expenditure to the Election Commission of India," he said. The officials said Mr Deol can contest the poll expenditure report sent by the District Election Officer.
Sunny Deol Reviews Progress Of Construction Work On Kartarpur Corridor

Actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol on Saturday reviewed the work progress of the Kartarpur corridor in Punjab's Gurdaspur district and posted pictures of his visit on social media. The corridor connects the Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Gurdaspur, Mr Deol constituency, with the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan's Kartarpur, which is around three-four km from the International Border.
