National-Security-Advisor Ajit Doval met religious leaders Baba Ramdev, Maulana M Madani and Avdheshanand Giri in New-Delhi to discuss the need for maintaining peace and harmony after the SC-verdict on Ayodhya. The religious leaders may address a-press-conference later on Sunday. Earlier on Saturday, Ajit Doval met Avdheshanand Giri, Swami Parmatmanand and Baba Ramdev at his residence for the meeting that lasted for almost an hour.

The Indian-American community lauded the SC's historic verdict in the Ayodhya-case, saying the decision in the decades-old land dispute is equally a victory for both Hindus and Muslims. The SC in a-unanimous-verdict said the disputed land in Ayodhya belongs entirely to the deity Ram-Lalla or infant Lord-Ram, paving the way for a temple at the site claimed by both Hindus and Muslims for decades.
