Once a raging trend, showstoppers present a 'Catch-22' situation for the couturiers and are viewed as a necessary evil capable of killing a creative mind's craft, believe veteran fashion-designers. Bal believes showstoppers are present only because of the sponsors; they are never the wish of the designer. The designer said that only photographs from the show one tends to see are of the showstopper.
Sushmita Sen Not Needed To Pay Tax On Coca Cola's #MeToo Payout

The Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) passed an order in favour of Sushmita Sen, ruling the Rs. 95 lakh that the actor received from beverages maker Coca Cola for settling a sexual harassment complaint would not be classified as an 'income'. The case pertains to a Rs. 1.50 crore contract between Coca Cola and Ms Sen which was ended prematurely in 2003.
