Central intelligence agencies suspect that proscribed organisations are using funds collected through sale of FICN to obtain sophisticated weapons. The corridor connecting West Bengal to states of North Eastern India is thought to be the nerve centre of this clandestine operation. Sleuths believe that terror groups are using the densely forested borders of North Eastern states to dump sophisticate weapons, including AK series ones.
Terrorists attack army patrol party in Kupwara

Terrorists attacked an army patrol party in Haril area of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning. No injuries or casualties have been reported as yet. This comes a day after two soldiers were injured after terrorists attacked an army patrol party near Line of Control fence in Kashmirs Keran sector.
