The gunman who killed seven-people and wounded 23-others in a rampage across West-Texas obtained the assault-style rifle used through a-private-sale after he was banned from having a firearm because he was diagnosed with a-mental-illness, media reported. The gunman, identified as Seth-Aaron Ator, 36, carried-out the shooting spree in the neighbouring cities of Midland and Odessa, shortly after he was fired from his trucking job.

Mail carrier Mary Granados was alone in her U.S. Postal Service truck when she was shot and killed by a gunman who hijacked the white vehicle in West Texas amid his frenzy of violence. Granados, 29, was among seven people between the ages of 15 and 57 killed Saturday. Another 22 were injured, including a toddler.

Franky Zapata set-off on his "Flyboard" from Sangatte on the northern coast of France for the 20-minute trip and landed at St. Margaret's Bay in Dover, on England's south coast.
