Facebook "Digital Gangsters", Violated Privacy Laws: British Report

A scathing British parliamentary report branded Facebook "digital gangsters" that knowingly violated data-privacy and competition laws. Lawmakers' 18-month investigation into disinformation and "fake news" also accused Facebook of failing to faithfully fight Russia's alleged attempts to influence elections. Cultural select committee chair Damian Collins said Facebook "deliberately sought to frustrate our work by giving incomplete, disingenuous and at times misleading answers to our questions."

Terrorists Using Motorcycle Keys To Trigger Blasts In Kashmir: Report

The commonly used anti-theft remote alarms or keys used in motorcycles and vehicles are being increasingly used by terrorists to trigger IED in J-K, a possibility suspected in recent Pulwama-attack on CRPF convoy that killed over 40-personnel, a-latest-report has revealed. It added that the terrorists continue to use the "rudimentary" command-wire mechanism (by joining wires) to blast IEDs, probably to "hit the targets precisely".

The last rites of Major Chitresh Bisht were still underway in Haridwar today, when the army said that Major Vibhuti Dhoundiyal had died in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama.
