
1st blind woman IAS officer takes charge in Kerala

India's first visually-impaired IAS officer Pranjal Patil has taken charge as Thiruvananthapuram sub-collector. This is her second assignment since her appointment into service in 2018. She said that she was excited to be working in Kerala and looked forward to the new assignment as sub collector. "We must never give up, we will get that one breakthrough that we are hoping for," she added.
