United Airlines Suspends Newark-Mumbai Flights Over Iran Airspace Worries

The US Federal Aviation Administration issued an emergency order prohibiting US operators from flying in an-overwater-area of Tehran-controlled airspace over the Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman due to heightened tensions. The order came hours after United Airlines suspended flights between New Jersey's Newark airport and Mumbai, which fly through Iranian-airspace, following a safety review after Iran shot down high-altitude US surveillance drone.
United Airlines Extends Cancellations Of Boeing 737 MAX Flights

United Airlines said it is extending by one month its cancellations of Boeing Co 737 MAX flights, through August-3, as the jetliner remains grounded following two fatal-crashes. United, which operates 14 737 MAX jets, said the decision would lead to about 40 or 45 daily canceled flights. United has been seeking to expand in Latin America, which is considered ripe for air travel growth.
CBI Files Case Against Five For Attempted Trafficking Of Minors To US

The CBI on Friday said that it has registered a case against five persons, including a woman from Punjab, for trying to traffic minors to the United States for an "educational trip". According to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) FIR, the case was registered after a complaint was made by the US embassy and a preliminary enquiry was conducted.
