
West Bengal told to return Rs.193 cr received under Ayushman Bharat

The Centre has asked the WB government to return the Rs.193-crore it had received for the central government's Ayushman Bharat scheme, along with any interest earned, since the state has pulled-out of it. This follows the Mamata Banerjee-led state government's failure to respond to a January-11 letter in which the Centre had urged it to reconsider its stand of pulling out of the scheme.

Four arrested for stealing 150 mobiles from Flipkart's delivery hub

Four men were arrested for allegedly stealing 150 mobile phones from online shopping portal Flipkart's delivery hub at Delhi's Alipur, police said today. A complaint was received from Maan Singh, a certified vigilance investigation expert of Flipkart's security team, on February 19 that the mobile phones, being transported from their delivery hub to a warehouse at Binola, Bilaspur, were stolen, a police official said.

Swine Flu Deaths Touch 377 Across India, Over 12,000 Infected: Govt

Sixty five people succumbed to H1N1 virus in the country last week, pushing the death toll due to swine flu this year to 377, according to the Union Health Ministry, while the number of those infected by it has crossed 12,000. Rajasthan reported the highest number of cases(3,508) and fatalities(127), the ministry data-showed. Gujarat was placed second on the list with 71-deaths and 1,983-cases.
