Kamal Nath's Nephew Threatening Witnesses In Chopper Case: Probe Agency

Ratul Puri, the nephew of Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath, is threatening witnesses in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam case, the Enforcement Directorate told a Delhi court. Seeking his custodial interrogation, the probe agency made the claims before special-judge Arvind Kumar, during the hearing of an anticipatory bail application filed by him. Kamal Nath had said he had nothing to with his nephew's business.

In VVIP Chopper Case, Assets Of Gautam Khaitan's Wife Attached

The Enforcement Directorate said it has attached Rs. 7.49 lakh worth of bank deposits of VVIP choppers deal scam accused Gautam Khaitan's wife as part of a probe into a money laundering case against the couple. The central agency said it has issued a provisional order for attachment of the funds, kept in an ICICI bank branch in Connaught Place, under the PMLA.

Rajeev Saxena, Arrested In AgustaWestland Case, Gets Bail

A Delhi court granted bail to Rajeev Saxena, who was arrested in the Rs.3,600-crore AgustaWestland money-laundering case. Special Judge Arvind Kumar granted relief to Mr Saxena on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.5L and two sureties of the same amount. The court also imposed certain conditions on Mr Saxena and said he will not tamper with evidence and join investigation as and when called.
