WI fast-bowler Cecil Wright or Cec' has finally announced that he will retire from the game in two-weeks at the age of 85. Wrigh played with the likes of Viv Richards and Joel Garner and will become the oldest-cricketer to play and retire from the game. Wright made his first-class debut for Jamaica against Barbados side with legends like Wes-Hall and Sir Garfield Sobers.

Veteran West Indies batsman Chris Gayle will retire from one-day international cricket after this year's World Cup in England and Wales, Windies Cricket announced. The big-hitting 39-year-old opener, who has scored 9,727 runs in 284 ODIs, is set to play his first-international since last-July against England on Wednesday. The game in Barbados on Wednesday is first of five-match series against World Cup favourites England.
