Quarterly earnings from biggies like Reliance Industries, HUL and Wipro as well as overseas cues would be the major driving factors for the domestic indices this week, according to analysts. Announcing its results after market hours on Friday, India's second-largest IT services company Infosys said its consolidated net profit declined by 2.2 per cent to Rs 4,019 crore for the July-September 2019 quarter.

Wipro has set a target of $50-million in automation-only deals, as the technology services company strives to grow faster through digital-led revenue, two-people with knowledge of the matter told ET. The Wipro-leadership has tasked the Wipro HOLMES team to bag more automation-only deals, apart from other contracts that come with a digital-technology component. The company has stepped-up focus on digital technology-led delivery of services.

Wipro Limited on August-13 announced it has launched three edge AI starter solutions powered by Intel Xeon scalable processors. These solutions will help enterprises in the energy & utilities and healthcare markets jump start their AI-adoption, the Bengaluru-headquartered company said in statement. Wipro will leverage Intel's AI technology to maximise-performance of the Wipro AI solutions when running on Intel Xeon scalable-processors, it was stated.
