England new boy Jofra Archer relaxed over World Cup chances

Jofra Archer insisted he had received a warm welcome into the England set-up but stressed he would have no complaints if he failed in a late bid to make it into the tournament hosts' World Cup squad. The Barbados-born fast bowler made his much talked about England debut in a tense four-wicket win away to Ireland in lone one-day international in Dublin on Friday.

Veteran West Indies batsman Chris Gayle will retire from one-day international cricket after this year's World Cup in England and Wales, Windies Cricket announced. The big-hitting 39-year-old opener, who has scored 9,727 runs in 284 ODIs, is set to play his first-international since last-July against England on Wednesday. The game in Barbados on Wednesday is first of five-match series against World Cup favourites England.
