China commits $3.4 Billion for Philippine Infra Projects

China has committed to finance $3.4 Billion for at least 3 infrastructure projects in the Philippines, 2 of which could be launched in the first half of this year. Projects were part of the Philippines' infrastructure wish list, which it presented to China for possible financing, through grants or loans. Loan agreements for irrigation, water supply and rail projects are yet to be finalized.
