
Curfew in Jharkhand's Lohardaga after pro-CAA rally turns violent

Curfew was imposed in Lohardaga, Jharkhand on Friday a day after violence erupted in the city during a rally in support of the new citizenship law. Section 144, which prohibits assembly of more than four people in an area, has been imposed in Lohardaga, news agency ANI reported. Schools and colleges have been closed for two days following Thursday violence, Lohardaga district collector said.
