
Delhi: In riding city of trash mountains, MCD faces a hurdle

Amidst the political blame game over the ever-rising garbage mountains of the National Capital, the municipal corporations have hit a hurdle in removing them. Over 60% of the segregated waste at the landfill sites is soil and it has no takers. The biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste are being used for waste to energy plants, but the soil is of no use.
