Food grains production increased by 8.1%

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Vice-Chancellor Dr. K Ramasamy said the country's food grains production in 2016-17 increased by 8.1%. The foodgrains production increased to a record high of 271.98 million tons. It was a great achievement despite all the difficulties farming community face today and it may be attributed to the Scientists of KVK who relentlessly working with the farming community in the field.
