Fund raising for India investments jumps by 8% in 2016

India continued to be attractive destination for investments, as funds allocated to India increased by 8% over the previous year. Standing at $9 billion, Indian dry powder remained at levels similar to 2015, indicating no dearth of capital for good-quality deals. In addition, India sees incremental capital from regional allocations from global and Asia-Pacifi c-focused funds, which is not reflected in the above number.
