Government raises minimum wage for agriculture labourers

Minimum wage for agriculture labourers including those hired on contract, has been raised by the labour ministry. Minimum wages were raised for non-agricultural labourers 6 months ago. An unskilled agriculture laborer will get a minimum wage of Rs 300 per day in C-category towns and B and A category towns will get Rs 303 and Rs 333 respectively.
