Iranian envoy to India, Ali Chegeni on Wednesday said Iran will welcome any peace initiative by India for de-escalating its tensions with the United States. "We're not for war, we're looking for peace and prosperity for everybody," Chegeni added. Tensions between the US and Iran escalated after the US confirmed it killed the Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in an airstrike.
