'Karnataka to procure 15,000 tonnes of green fodder from Punjab'

District-in-charge Minister and Minister for Animal Husbandry and Sericulture, A Manju, has said that the government will procure 15,000 tonnes of green fodder from Punjab to tackle the existing fodder shortage in the state. Addressing reporters, Manju said the fodder is being purchased at a cost of Rs.13.20 per kg. The procurement of fodder from Punjab will tide over the crisis in the state.
