Low priced biscuits are heavily consumed in Maharashtra

According to Biscuits Manufacturers Welfare Association (BMWA), Out of the total 36 lakh tonnes of biscuits consumed in the country annually, Maharashtra has emerged as the largest consumer of low price high nutrition biscuits. Maharashtra consumes 1.90 lakh tonnes of glucose, Marie and milk of LPHN biscuits every year. Maharashtra is followed by Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal.
