
Moody lowers growth forecast for Asia-Pacific Region to 5.2% for 2020

The Covid-19 has weakened demand for Asian-exports and has caused supply chain disruptions that are set to slow-growth across the Asia-Pacific, credit-rating-agency Moody's has said in a report. Moody's Investor Services has lowered its growth forecast for the Asia-Pacific-region to 5.2% for 2020, citing the lingering impact of the Covid-19 outbreak in China, impact of which will be more pronounced on China and India.
