
Named as Jamia violence instigator, Sharjeel Imam sent to 14-day judicial custody

A Delhi court sent JNU student Sharjeel Imam, accused of sedition, to 14-day judicial custody. Imam has been sent to judicial custody till March-3 in Jamia-New Friends Colony violence case. The Saket court order came after Sharjeel Imam was sent to one-day custody of Delhi Police on Monday in a separate case related to violent protests against CAA at New Friends Colony on December-15.
