No copyright on true events, says Chhapaak director Meghna Gulzar

'Chhapaak' director Meghna Gulzar has told the Bombay High Court that copyright cannot be claimed on true events and incidents. This comes after writer Rakesh Bharti filed a suit claiming that 'Chhapaak' is based on a script that he originally wrote on the life of an acid attack survivor. Meghna has sought the dismissal of the suit filed by Bharti.
