RBI asks banks to hold camps on digital payments from April 1

To promote digital payments post demonetization, RBI asked banks to organize special camps from April 1 to educate the public. RBI asked banks to educate customers on digital payments through UPI and 99# code platforms. The policy on conduct of camps by Financial Literacy Centre and rural branches of banks has been revised given the recent developments on demonetization and focus on going digital.
