Say goodbye to Tuberculosis on this World Tuberculosis Day
Friday, March 24, 2017, 9:53 AM
World Tuberculosis Day, observed on March 24 each year, is designed to build public awareness about the global epidemic of tuberculosis (TB) and efforts to eliminate the disease. Tuberculosis is completely curable through DOTS. DOT means that a trained health care worker or other designated individual (excluding a family member) provides the prescribed TB drugs and watches the patient swallow every dose.
