Snapdeal Invests INR 390 Crores in FreeCharge

According to Registrar of Companies filings, Jasper Infotech, parent company of Snapdeal, has reportedly invested Rs 390 crores in digital wallet company FreeCharge. This investment follows a special resolution passed in December, where FreeCharge, which was acquired by Snapdeal in 2015, increased its authorized share capital from INR 6 crore to INR 1,006 crore.
