The most senior bank examiner for Wells Fargo & Co has been removed by a U.S. regulator in the wake of the bank's unauthorised accounts scandal. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the lead-regulator for national banks, stripped the examiner, Bradley Linskens, of his supervisory powers within the last two-weeks. In 2016, Linskens was honoured with the title "senior national bank examiner".
