Former-Pakistan-PM Nawaz Sharif suffered a heart attack at a hospital in Lahore, a senior Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir claimed on Saturday. "Former-PM Nawaz Sharif suffered heart attack in Services Hospital Lahore doctors saying he survived this heart attack but is feeling weak," Mir said in a tweet. On Friday, Lahore HC had granted bail to Sharif on medical-grounds, in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.

An 18-month child from Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri suffering from a rare brain disease will get free treatment in a state-run hospital in the national capital, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said today, adding that governance for his party meant "serving the people". "I pray to god that the child recovers soon," he further wrote.

Cases of dengue have spiked in the national capital with at least 111 of those being reported in the last one week, taking the total number of people affected by the vector-borne disease this year in Delhi to 467, according to a municipal report released on Monday. October alone has seen 185 cases of dengue while 190 cases were reported in September.
