Former FM Arun Jaitley, who was admitted to AIIMS on August-9, is critical, said sources as home minister Amit Shah and health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan rushed to the hospital late on Friday. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has not issued any bulletin on Jaitley's health condition after last Friday, when he was admitted.

BJP Leader Arun Jaitley, Admitted to AIIMS, Continues to Be Stable

Former finance-minister Arun Jaitley, who has been admitted to the AIIMS, continues to be stable, sources at the hospital said on Sunday. On Saturday, after Vice President Venkaiah Naidu visited the hospital to inquire about Jaitley's health, his office said that the former minister is responding to treatment. The hospital did not issue any fresh bulletin on Jaitley's health either on Saturday or Sunday.

Indian-cricketer Suresh Raina underwent knee surgery in Amsterdam which effectively rules him out of the better part of India's domestic season which starts later this month. "@ImRaina u have been an inspiration to so many with your incredible work ethic over your career, especially these last-couple of years," Rhodes wrote in his tweet. Raina will require four to six weeks of rehabilitation to recover.

Arun Jaitley At AIIMS After Breathing Problems, PM Visits Hospital

Arun Jaitley, former Union minister and senior BJP-leader, was admitted to Delhi's AIIMS this morning after he complained of breathing problems. He is under observation at the Cardio-Neuro ward of the hospital. PM Modi and Health Minister Harsh Vardhan visited Mr Jaitley in the hospital. Mr Jaitley, 66, had taken a long break as a Finance-Minister last year after he had undergone renal transplant.
