LG has now launched three new Gram laptops in India, running Windows 10 Home. The new additions include LG Gram 17, LG Gram 15, and LG Gram 14 laptops, and they will go on sale on Amazon India from next week. LG Gram 17-inch variant is awarded to be the world's lightest laptop in its category by Guinness World Records in February 2019.

Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Nath is not distributing laptops to the young people in the state because he does not know how to use one. The Samajwadi Party chief further accused Yogi Adityanath of conspiring against his party workers with the help of people in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Police have registered an FIR against Flipkart Co-founder Sachin Bansal and CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy for cheating, criminal breach of trust and forgery on a Ghaziabad-based lawyer's complaint. He alleged that Flipkart sold him a laptop having features different from what was mentioned at the time of sale. He claimed Flipkart initially agreed to replace the product but didn't replace it.

Lenovo acquired a major chunk of the PC industry in the third quarter of 2018 as per latest estimates by both IDC and Gartner. orldwide PC shipments totaled 67.2 million units in the third quarter of 2018, where Lenovo secured 24% of the global market share. Following close second is HP with close to 22% share, followed by Dell at 17%.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has carried out searches at 16 premises of alleged hawala operators in Delhi and adjoining areas and recovered Rs. 3.65 crore, including foreign currency worth Rs. 46 lakh, officials said. 11 laptops, 62 mobile phones, one Macbook, two ipads, four hard disks, four pen-drives and nine CDs connected with hawala transactions have also been seized, the official said.

The Rajya-Sabha is now Wi-Fi enabled, offering law makers of the Upper-House access to Internet for browsing government and Parliament-websites, Chairman M Venkaiah-Naidu said today. Present rules allows MPs to carry mobile phones, laptops and tabs inside the Rajya-Sabha chamber but the devices were not connected to the Parliament Wi-Fi. Parliament-Wi-Fi was available to members in lobbies and other parts of the Parliament House-complex.
