Piramal Enterprises Ltd (PEL) Thursday said its pain relief tablet brand Saridon has been exempted from the list of banned fixed dose combinations (FDCs) by the Supreme Court. In a regulatory filing, the company said the apex court has ruled in favour of Saridon, which is a heritage brand from its healthcare product portfolio.

The Punjab Police have busted a cricket betting racket and apprehended two bookies in Ludhiana. The police also seized Rs 1 lakh, 13 mobile phones and a tablet from their possession. "Father and son have been arrested and a case has been registered. We have seized cash worth more than Rs 1 lakh along with 13 mobile phones and a tablet," the police said.

Microsoft officially released the Surface Go tablet, the lower spec version of the already available and popular Surface Pro. The Surface Go comes with a 10-inch screen, inbuilt kickstand for erecting it and the overall design has been retained from the Pro device.
