How do you find the semi annual yield of a bond?

By IndianMoney , 8 months ago
Divide the annual coupon rate by two will get the semiannual rate. For example: if the annual rate is 4 percent, the semiannual rate is 2 percent. Multiply the years to maturity by two to get the number of compounding periods remaining until the bond reaches maturity.
