What if I wish to invest more money than the Rs.1.5 lakh limit?

You cannot deposit more than Rs.1.5 lakh in your PPF (public provident fund) account in a particular financial year(FY). "Even if you manage to deposit more than 1.5 Lakh, you will neither earn interest nor enjoy tax benefits on the excess funds."
