1. The Government of India launched the Setu Bharatam project considering the importance of road safety. 2. It aims in developing a strong infrastructure that will contribute towards the growth of the country through proper planning and implementation of this project. 3. PM Narendra Modi was sanctioned Rs. 102 billion for completion of this project. 4. The Setu Bharatam will focuses on the construction of new bridges as well as renovation of old ones.
